Terms of Service
This draft was prepared by the product team to make the remaining decisions visible. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it is not a binding agreement. Until it is approved, it describes intent, not obligations.
How to read this document
This document is a prepared draft. Every place that depends on a decision by the company (jurisdiction, data residency, retention periods, the legal basis for processing, the form of consent) is marked with a visible marker. A marked place is not a promise and not a legal statement — it is a question that has to be answered before this document can be approved and become effective.
Open questions — this document cannot be approved until they are answered

- Q-LG-13 — What is the liability cap, and are consequential damages excluded?
- Q-LG-14 — Is there an indemnity, and in which direction?

- Q-LG-16 — What is the notice period for termination, and what happens to data?
1. What this service is
TaskTreker is an assistant for product managers. It reads the channels you connect — meetings, documents, calendar — and proposes tasks, decisions, insights and facts with a link back to the fragment they came from. You confirm what enters your context; the service does not decide for you.
The service is provided as software. It is not a consultancy, it does not give legal, financial or tax advice, and it does not make employment or personnel decisions on your behalf.
2. Accounts and roles
An account belongs to a company (a tenant). The company holds roles with different permissions: owner, editor, member, viewer, and sales. Each action in the product is recorded against the account that performed it.
3. What you are responsible for
- You connect only channels you are entitled to read, and you do so in accordance with the law that applies to you and to the people whose material you connect.
- You obtain and keep the consents, notices and permissions your own organisation and the participants require before a channel is connected.
- You do not connect channels whose content you are not authorised to process, and you do not use the service to process material you obtained unlawfully.
- You keep your account credentials to yourself, and you tell us promptly if an account was used without your authorisation.
4. What the assistant does, and what it does not do
The assistant extracts candidate items from connected channels and shows them to you. Until a person confirms an item, it is a proposal: it does not affect your context, your answers, your sizing calculations or your priorities.
- Extraction can be wrong. Every extracted item points back to the source fragment so you can check it.
- The assistant does not write market figures or numbers it has not been given; sizing is calculated from the assumptions you enter.
- The prompt set (the harness) is versioned, evaluated on examples, and can be rolled back.
Technical note, stated plainly: where the assistant cannot verify something, it is expected to say so rather than fill the gap. A wrong extraction that a person confirms is still a wrong extraction — the confirmation step exists to catch it, not to absolve the service.
5. Your content and intellectual property
Your content stays yours. Connected material, transcripts, documents, extracted items and the context you confirm remain your property. We do not sell them, and we do not use them to train models that serve anyone else.
6. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties: the model provider that produces extractions, hosting and object storage for the data, and the providers of the tools you connect. Their availability and their own terms are theirs.
7. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an "as available" basis while it is in public beta. We publish changes to the product in the changelog, and we announce changes that affect your data or your rights before they take effect.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to do so by law.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for reviewing what the assistant proposes before you rely on it.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
Technical note, stated plainly: the applicable law and the jurisdiction are not yet fixed, which is why they appear here as an open decision rather than as a clause. We will not publish a governing-law clause for a jurisdiction we have not chosen.
11. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, their version and date change with it. Changes that reduce your rights take effect only after notice.
12. Contact
